Forex Mentors
Good forex mentors are those that arn't providing some 'tip' or 'signals' service but are those who are genuine in assisting you in improving your skills and in teaching you how to trade for yourself. A good mentor is a coach and what you want from them is practical learning and learning by example. The fact is, learning by example is the easiest way to acquire any new skill, forex trading included.
There is only one road to success in trading: your own. Many people look for mentors to teach them "something" that will make them a better trader. In our opinion, this is NOT the reason why you should look for a mentor. There is no one thing, a secret formula or "something" that will make you a better trader. One of the primary goals of a mentor should be to rid people of this idea.
You have to learn how to put everything together by yourself. And there is probably a lot that you know already. Success comes often from (what more experienced traders call) a "breakthrough experience". This can simply arise out of making a few adjustments & correcting bad habits or learning a new skill like patience, discipline, or simply by focusing more on this rather than that.
Having the best forex mentor for your needs is important. Mentors can through guidance and objective advice, help you achieve this and can assist in making you learn how to put everything together. Most successful traders will tell you that they learnt to trade from others. As one successful trader put it: "I never learnt from theories or things, I learnt from people."
